i love jarvis a whole clock...but foals a whole clock & a little bit more

today's fuzzy head & pestering yawns were more than a fair trade for the wonderful day i had yesterday at wireless festi, hyde park. it was a lovely-line up, which kicked off with metronomey, who were great but i particularly loved the crafti-self-portraits going on behind them.

next up were foals...who were totally, unbelievably brilliant. i had wanted to see them for ages & they didn't disappoint one small bit. in my humble opinion, foals' second album, total life forever, doesn't feature a bad track & they delivered a perfect performance.

i would have been more than happy to head on home after foals, but the biggest treat was yet to come. pulp. jarvis is just such a fantastic front man. he seemed to be made of plasticine as he moved about the stage in his bendy, funny old way. awesome. and don't get me started on the lights. i thought their whole set was incred. it was a big old amazing day.
